Argentina and Nigeria were pitted against each other for the FIFA World Cup 2014 Group F match at Estadio Beira – Rio, Porto Alegre. Argentina won against Nigeria by 3-2. This was easy for Argentina since they were through and three wins in a row will definitely add to their drive. Nigeria could have only got through this match if at all they win or draw.

The Barcelona forward came through with a fierce opener by Ahmed Misa equalized within 80 with a curling finish. Messi made it 2-1 before the half time with a 25-yard free-kick and Musa grabbed his second goal. Later Marcos Rojo scored a winner goal, knocking in a corner with a knee.

Since Argentina thrashed Nigeria in this match, it means Argentina finished top Group F with three wins.
